Why should I choose IndieFood? |
You get superior, fresher food delivered to your business. More importantly, 85% of all sales go directly to the farm, offering them much better support than traditional grocery stores. The farmers also have full control, as they set their own pricing. Our farm-to-business model is also better for the planet, lowering carbon emissions. |

Do I need a subscription or commitment to order? |
No. We offer flexible shopping with no subscriptions or commitments. To get started, apply for a wholesale account through our website. Once approved, you’re all set to begin ordering. Order what you need, when you need it. Note that there is a $100 order minimum. |

|
Is there an order minimum? |
Yes, there is a $100 order minimum required to checkout. |
|
What happens after I place my order? |
After Sunday at midnight, we place orders with the farmers. We then pick up the products from Ontario farms midweek, ensuring everything is at peak freshness. Your order is delivered to you by Friday. |
|
Can I modify or cancel my order after the Monday deadline? |
Since we place our orders with farmers immediately after the deadline, we are generally unable to modify or cancel orders after Sunday night. Please contact us immediately if you have an urgent issue. |
3. Delivery & Shipping

Question |
Answer |

How can I track my delivery? |
We send updates every Wednesday by SMS and email. This notification will provide you with a specific delivery date and a 90-minute estimated delivery window. You will also receive a tracking link to follow your delivery's progress. |
|
How do you handle fresh and frozen items during delivery? |
We use a refrigerated delivery service to safely deliver refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable products. Your order arrives fresh and ready for your shelves. |
|
Does someone need to be there to receive my delivery? |
Yes. Due to the size and value of wholesale orders, someone must be present to receive the delivery. This helps ensure products are handled properly and prevents any risk of loss or theft. |
